Erin, Conrad and Jeremiah Bishop

The mission of the Bishop Family Charitable Foundation is to promote and provide resources for charitable, educational, recreational and civic-minded purposes, including funding the construction of shared use trails and alternative transportation routes from Harrisonburg schools to surrounding neighborhoods, urban centers and outdoor recreation opportunities; and promoting cycling as a means to better the health and wellness, safety, prestige and sustainability of the community; and providing opportunities for and encouraging community members and visitors to enjoy and embrace cycling.

To best execute this mission, the Foundation works closely with these and other non-profits and organizations including the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition, Prostate Cancer Awareness Project, Rockingham Memorial Hospital, DR100.org, Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance, and the City of Harrisonburg.
